InspireMath Academy Policies
& Enrollment Terms

InspireMath Academy is a supplemental education program grounded in the belief that every child begins with genius, brilliance, and the right to belong in mathematics. To support clarity, safety, and an excellent learning experience, the following policies guide our work with students and families. These policies apply to all InspireMath Academy services.

1. Terms of Enrollment

Parents agree to:

  • Ensure timely attendance

  • Provide a quiet workspace with necessary technology

  • Monitor student engagement

  • Communicate openly about student needs or schedule changes

  • Complete periodic parent assessments of progress

InspireMath agrees to:

  • Provide high-quality, individualized math instruction

  • Communicate clearly and consistently

  • Maintain high expectations with warmth, care, and responsiveness

  • Adapt instruction to student strengths, learning profile, and goals

2. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Monthly payments are due before the start of the month.

  • Sessions cannot begin until payment is received.

  • Payments are non-refundable once the month has begun.

  • Missed or cancelled sessions do not reduce the monthly fee.

  • Late or missing payments may result in suspension of services.

If InspireMath cancels a session, we will reschedule or issue a credit.

3. Attendance & Cancellation Policy

  • We require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are not eligible for rescheduling.

  • Emergencies and illness are handled case by case.

  • Students who arrive late will receive the remaining time in the session.

Sustained attendance challenges may prompt a review of the student’s enrollment.

4. Communication & Safety Policy

Because we work with minors, InspireMath maintains clear communication boundaries:

  • All communication includes a parent or guardian.

  • No private personal communication occurs between tutor and student. Include no personal communications with minors.

  • Zoom sessions use protected links.

  • Parents may request access to session recordings (if any).

  • Parents may attend or observe sessions.

Technology requirements:

  • Stable internet connection

  • Working camera (om) and microphone. Note there may be circumstances this is waived or adjusted in alignment with neuro-affirming environments.

  • Calculator as needed for course level
