Inspire Futures · Grades 9–12+ · Years 10–13

The confidence and success your child is ready to build for what's next.

Because you know your child can do this, and you want them to know it too.
Inspire Futures is our high school and senior years pathway for students in Grades 9 through 12 and beyond, or Years 10 through 13. Your child works with an expert mentor who learns how they think, honors their brilliance, and builds the mathematical confidence and success that carries them into every year that follows.

Why families choose Inspire Futures

Every child arrives differently.

Inspire Futures meets your child where they are — and prepares them for what comes after high school.

"My child is brilliant — but high school math is starting to feel like a wall."

The concepts are stacking up faster. You want someone to figure out what's not landing — and rebuild their confidence before the stakes get higher.

"My child is ready for more than the course syllabus is offering."

They're capable of advanced work, but they're not being challenged. You want them working with someone who will meet their thinking where it actually is — not where the course pacing says they should be.

"My child is doing well — but I want them to belong in whatever comes next."

You've seen students who arrive at college math, AP exams, or IB unprepared. You want your child to walk in knowing — really knowing — that they belong there, prepared to lead.

What your child will build

Four things every Inspire Futures student takes into what's next.

Not a syllabus. A set of capabilities that turn advanced mathematics — and the exams that measure it — into content your child leads through.

One

Advanced mathematical thinking they can trust.

The reasoning that anchors algebra, geometry, calculus, and beyond — pattern, proof, application. Not just procedures. Real understanding they can apply to any problem set they meet.

Two

Mathematical confidence at grade level and above.

The ability to sit with a hard problem and know they can find their way through. The willingness to try. The habit of trusting what they bring.

Three

A clear picture of what they know.

Session by session, evidence of what they've built. Not just grades. Real capability they can point to and rely on.

Four

Readiness for what comes next.

The specific preparation that turns AP Calculus, IB Mathematics, SAT/ACT, and college coursework into content your child leads through — rather than survives.

How Inspire Futures works

How we get to know your child.

There is no intake form and no obligation until we both know this is the right fit.

1

We listen first.

A conversation about your child, what's working, what isn't, and what you're hoping for.

2

We meet them where they are.

Gentle, thorough assessment. We look for what's underneath, not just what's on the surface.

3

We build the plan.

A personalized learning plan designed around how your child thinks and where they're headed.

4

We stay with them.

Consistent, purposeful mentorship. You'll always know where your child is in the journey.

Not quite the right pathway? Inspire Foundations (Grades 3–5) prepares elementary students. Algebra Rising (Grades 6–8) serves US middle school families. IGCSE Rising (Years 7–9) is our international middle years pathway. Mention your child's grade or year when you schedule a conversation and we'll route you to the right fit.

Every child deserves someone who sees their mathematical potential — and knows exactly how to unlock it.

Dr. Lou Matthews founded InspireMath Academy on a single belief — that every child arrives mathematically gifted. With over two decades of experience and a PhD in Mathematics Education from Illinois State University, he has built a model of instruction that is rigorous, deeply relational, and designed around how each student actually thinks. He has spoken at the White House on humanity in STEM and authored two published books on mathematics education. Every InspireMath coach is selected and led by Dr. Lou personally.
