Personalized Pathways

Three pathways. One child. Built around where they actually are.

InspireMath provides 1:1 mathematics mentorship that runs alongside your child's current math course — connecting unfinished learning, deepening understanding, and advancing them toward what comes next. Same expert coach. Every session. Across the full arc.

Find your child on the map.

Pathways are organized by where your child is in their mathematical journey — not just by grade level. Most families know within a minute which one fits.

Inspire Foundations

Building the floor

Grades 3–5 · Years 4–6
Inspire Rising

Shaping the climb

Grades 6–8 · Years 7–9
Inspire Futures

Earning the next chapter

Grades 9–12 · Years 10–13
Inspire Foundations

Building what everything else depends on.

GRADES 3–5 YEARS 4–6 PRIMARY · ELEMENTARY

The years where mathematical confidence is either built — or quietly broken. Foundations is mentorship for primary and elementary students forming the conceptual base every later pathway depends on. We work alongside whatever your child is learning in school — strengthening number sense, operations, fractions, early algebraic thinking, and the habits of a young mathematician.

  • Mentorship focusNumber sense · operations · fractions · early algebraic thinking · problem-solving habits · mathematical confidence
  • DiagnosticPQIA Foundations — a clear picture of where the mathematical story has been interrupted and where deeper support will matter most
  • Format1:1 mentorship · same expert coach every session · weekly cadence · alongside school
  • Works withUS elementary · UK Key Stage 2 · Cambridge Primary · IB PYP · independent and homeschool programmes

"If the foundations are uneven, every grade after this one will feel harder than it needs to."

Foundations is right if your child…

  • Has gaps in number sense, fractions, or operations that keep resurfacing in school
  • Is bright in conversation but freezes on math classwork or homework
  • Will enter Algebra, IGCSE, or IB readiness within the next 2–3 years
  • Needs a mentor who will rebuild confidence — not just review tonight's homework
Inspire Rising

Shaping strengths, identity, and thinking.

GRADES 6–8 YEARS 7–9 PRE-ALGEBRA · IGCSE · IB MYP READINESS

The years where a mathematician is actually forming. Rising is mentorship for middle and lower-secondary students preparing for the curriculum that follows — Algebra in the US system, IGCSE in the British and international systems, IB MYP, and the high-school mathematics ahead. We shape the strengths, identity, and thinking habits that make the next pathway feel like an opportunity rather than a wall.

  • Mentorship focusPre-algebra · proportional reasoning · expressions & equations · geometric reasoning · mathematical writing · readiness for what comes next
  • DiagnosticPQIA Rising — a readiness profile for Algebra I, IGCSE Mathematics, IB MYP, and the high-school courses ahead
  • Format1:1 mentorship · same expert coach every session · weekly cadence · alongside school
  • Works withUS middle school (6–8) · Cambridge Lower Secondary · IB MYP 1–3 · pre-IGCSE preparation · independent and homeschool programmes

"Rising is where the question shifts from 'can my child do math?' to 'who is my child becoming as a mathematician?'"

Rising is right if your child…

  • Is entering or finishing middle school / lower secondary
  • Will sit IGCSE, take Algebra I, or enter IB MYP in the next 1–2 years
  • Has the capacity for more — but needs a mentor to see it and shape it
  • Is at a turning point where math identity is being formed for life
Inspire Futures

The full range of what comes next.

GRADES 9–12 YEARS 10–13 IB · IGCSE · AP · COLLEGE PREP

The pathway where the stakes are real. Futures is mentorship for high-school and upper-secondary students currently enrolled in IGCSE, IB Mathematics (AA or AI, SL or HL), AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus at their school. We don't replace the course — we partner with your child through it. Same coach, every session, across the full arc from first assessment to final exam.

  • Mentorship focusDeep conceptual mastery · exam fluency · mathematical writing & reasoning · pacing and study design across the school year
  • DiagnosticPQIA Futures — pathway-specific readiness for the exam or course your child is currently taking
  • Format1:1 mentorship · same expert coach every session · weekly cadence, intensified before exams · alongside the student's current course
  • Works withCambridge IGCSE Mathematics (Core & Extended) · IB Math AA & AI (SL/HL) · AP Calculus AB/BC · AP Statistics · Algebra II · Pre-Calculus · Calculus

"The path ahead is demanding. We won't let your child navigate it alone."

Futures is right if your child…

  • Is currently enrolled in IGCSE, IB, AP, or another high-school math course
  • Needs a mentor who actually knows the exam — not just the topic
  • Wants depth alongside school — not test-prep drill
  • Is making decisions in the next 1–4 years that mathematics will help decide

Not sure which pathway fits?

Every family begins the same way — with a conversation. No intake form. No obligation. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about your child and whether InspireMath is the right fit.

Schedule a Conversation

Pathway questions families ask.

My child is in Year 9 starting IGCSE — Rising or Futures?
If IGCSE Mathematics is the syllabus your child is currently sitting at school, Futures is the right pathway — it is where our IGCSE-specific mentorship lives. Rising is for the year or two leading up to IGCSE, building the readiness before the course begins. We confirm the right fit during your conversation.
Can my child move between pathways?
Yes. Pathways are designed as a connected arc, not as boxes. Students transition naturally — from Foundations into Rising, from Rising into Futures — as their mathematical story develops. Their coach often stays the same across the transition.
Is this tutoring, or something else?
It is mentorship that runs alongside your child's school course. Tutoring typically reviews homework and re-explains class material. InspireMath builds a personalized pathway around how your child actually thinks, diagnoses where the mathematical story has been interrupted (PQIA), and partners with them across months — not sessions. Same expert coach, every time.
Does InspireMath offer the IB, IGCSE, AP, or Algebra course itself?
No. InspireMath does not offer replica or replacement courses. Your child takes IB, IGCSE, AP, Algebra, or their other math course through their school — and we mentor them through it. Course credit is on our roadmap as our WASC accreditation expands, but it is not yet covered today. What students receive now is something a traditional course can't give: a dedicated mentor who knows them, stays with them, and builds with them across the full arc.
What is PQIA?
The Personalized Quantitative Impact Assessment — our diagnostic process for building a clear picture of where your child is mathematically, where they are going, and where deeper support will matter most. Every pathway begins with a PQIA tailored to the student's level.
Do you serve students outside the US?
Yes. We serve families across the US, Canada, the UK, and Bermuda, with students sitting US, UK, IB, and IGCSE curricula. Sessions are fully virtual and scheduled around your child's timezone.
How do I know which pathway fits my child?
You don't have to decide. Every family begins with a conversation — no form, no obligation. We listen, ask the right questions, and help you find the right fit. Most conversations clarify the pathway within 30 minutes.
